FLAVOR:
 Roasted nuts, earthy sweet, leather, subtle core of spice that stimulates the palate
BOUQUET:
 Sweet wood
ASH:
 Solid, milky white
STRENGTH:
 Heavy medium

TASTING NOTES:  The combination of the flavor, draw & aroma was delightful.  A pleasant light spice runs throughout the entire smoke with a sweetness that intensifies to the end.  Finishes with balanced notes of coffee beans.

The Jury's first verdict, out of love and respect, will be for one of The Dons and greatest cigar makers from the Dominican Republic.  A man I knew and cherished.  A founding member of Pro-Cigar.  The Jury will be reviewing a Classic by Juan Clemente.  May he rest in peace.

 Full creaminess and depth, balanced buttery finish

 Nutty, sweet floral, hints of cedar

 Silky white, slightest grey in the core

TASTING NOTES:  The pre-light aroma of this cigar was mind boggling.  The hinges on the box were rusted, I can't even imagine how old these cigars are.  A fullness of nuts and wood dominate the hard palate, then finishes sweet on the front of the tongue.  Elements of complex floral notes that are positive detected and appreciated in this blend.  The color of the ash and smoke; silky white.  The creamy bouquet is as delightful as the flavor.  I can see why this cigar has been so popular for so many years in Europe, where there was and still is immense demand for premium quality and aged mild vitolas.  This cigar is a gem.
